At the Kit Kat Club, no man is so charismatic, so in your face and loving it like the Master of Ceremonies. The MC. The Emcee. When the Kit Kat Club is in full swing, and the Cabaret is blowing the ceiling up, up and away... The Emcee is the one who keeps things rolling before, during and after the show. He's the one who entices people with promises and half truths about the girls. 'They're all virgins, each and everyone of them. Don't believe me? Ask her!'

Inside the walls of the club, you can escape from the dreary world outside, you can find someone and connect for a moment, or just drink your worries away while the good, hardworking people on stage give you something you can't get anywhere else. Maybe it's the girls - as they are beayooootiful - or the orchestra - for that's beayoootiful too - or simply that life itself is beautiful in there. In there, where the smoke is thick and the lights are down low and the spirits run high...anything can happen.

The times are changing, some say for the better, some say for the worse. Others yet say the end of the world is coming.

But inside the warm, welcoming walls of the Kit Kat Club... The troubles of tomorrow can wait for another day.

Without the make up and the costumes, the Emcee is just like any other Hans or Franz or what have you. He lives alone, he sleeps most of the day and comes alive at night behind the distortedly pretty mask of the Master of Ceremonies... It's his life, being on stage. Performing. Singing. Being outrageous in a way that simply has no place in the cold light of day.

Too bad he got fired.
